Welcome to Carmichael-Shar-Pei

We are Rick & Pat Sheveluk & we have been in the breed for approx. 20 years. Our main goal in this love affair we are having with our Chinese Shar-Pei dogs is to improve the breed. This means by breeding healthy good tempered dogs to healthy good tempered dogs that meet the Chinese Shar-Pei standard and try to produce the perfect dog whether it be for a show home or a companion family dog.

We have owned and or bred Chinese Shar-Pei that have been in the top five of the breed as per the Canadian Kennel Club statistics on numerous years.

We show our dogs both in Canada and the United States. We have numerous Champions accredited to our kennel in both countries.

We do limited showing show handling and training for the shows for others. Please inquire if interested.

We are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and we are licensed with the township. We are situated on 7 acres in a rural community north of Belleville and south of Tweed. We are approximately 2 hours east of Toronto and 2 1/2 hours west of Montreal.

We are members in good standing of The Canadian Kennel Club and The Chinese Shar-Pei Club of America. We are active members of The Chinese Shar-Pei Club of Canada and the Belleville & District All Breed & Obedience Kennel Club. I have held the position of President and Show Chairman for both The Chinese Shar-Pei Club of Canada and the Belleville & District All Breed & Obedience Kennel Club.
