We have a small and very selective breeding program, in ROSLIN, Ontario, Canada. We do not have puppies every year and for that reason we encourage people to place their deposit and reserve their Chinese Shar-Pei puppy well in advance.

Carmichael Kennel Shar-Pei puppies are well socialized with people and other dogs. They are tattooed or microchipped, have a written health guarantee and are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.

Your guarantee when purchasing a Chinese Shar-Pei from Carmichael Kennel:
When you purchase a puppy from us, you are receiving the finest quality Shar-Pei we can achieve, through our selective breeding practices. We aim to breed dogs which are free of genetic diseases. All our parents are certified to be free of hip displasia and of sound mind and body. That is our commitment to you and our dogs.

We understand that the purchase of a Chinese Shar-Pei puppy is an important financial and emotional investment, that is why we strive to breed long lived, good tempered, healthy dogs. All our animals are guaranteed to be in excellent physical and mental health.
Our puppies are guaranteed against genetic diseases for a period of 24 months as per our contract.

Chinese Shar-Pei Rescue:
At Carmichael Kennels all of our puppies that we have produced are welcome to return to us at any time in their lives, as per our contract. Unfortunately, too many dogs are produced by irresponsible breeders which do not take back what they have produced and the dog winds up abandoned into kill shelters or worse. While we do not operate an official rescue we are giving you links to rescue in our breed. Please do not buy animals from Pet Stores or from Backyard Breeders. As per your contract and what Bob Barker of the Price is Right asks "please spay/neuter your pets".
